McCallie, situated in Chattanooga, TN, is an esteemed independent boarding and day school with a rich history dating back to its founding in 1905 by brothers Park and Spencer McCallie. Established on family land with a $2,000 donation from their father, the school is rooted in Christian principles that uphold honor, truth, and duty as fundamental to character development. McCallie welcomes students from diverse faith backgrounds, affirming the equal dignity and worth of all.  

Renowned nationally, McCallie is a trailblazer in boys' education, recognized for its innovative teaching methods that nurture lifelong learning among students. Recently acclaimed by Newsweek Magazine for its top-ranking STEM program in Tennessee, McCallie offers a rigorous academic curriculum complemented by extensive offerings in arts and music. The school boasts competitive success across 17 varsity sports, including football, baseball, lacrosse, tennis, and others, clinching over 20 state championships during the past five years in football, cross country, baseball, lacrosse, and tennis.
