- Spiritual focus. WCA's entire curriculum is rooted in the inerrant Word of God. Our Christian Worldview is solidified through the following biblical content philosophies to provide our Learning Facilitators a clear compass when planning their courses each year. Students are nurtured to be reflective communicators, embodying God’s teachings in every endeavor.
- IB Program. WCA has been designated an International Baccalaureate (IB) World School. The International Baccalaureate offers three high-quality, challenging educational programs to students in grades K-12. The IB is divided into three segments: the Primary Years Programme (K-5), the Middle Years Programme (6-10), and the Diploma Programme (11th and 12th grade).
- The IB Learner Profile is a cornerstone of the International Baccalaureate (IB) educational approach, designed to cultivate well-rounded, global-minded students. It emphasizes ten key attributes, including curiosity, critical thinking, and empathy, which aim to develop students into thoughtful, principled, and resilient individuals. By fostering these qualities, the IB program seeks to prepare students academically and as responsible and compassionate global citizens.
- Arts. At WCA, we value a well-rounded curriculum that includes experiences and opportunities for students in the Fine Arts. At all grade levels, students can experience visual arts, music, and drama, taught from a Christian worldview that emphasizes exploration and instruction. Our Fine Arts Program continually grows as students take on new experiences, tackle exciting classes, and participate in dynamic clubs.
- Athletics.WCA Athletics focuses on our overall mission to foster students' spiritual, physical, and emotional wellness per our Seven Pillars. Competition in a Christ-centered culture is rooted in developing and expressing Christian character through traits such as self-discipline, perseverance, humility, responsibility, integrity, commitment, reliability, patience, and cooperation. While student-athletes cultivate these eternal values, our goal is that athletes and coaches will present a testimony of our relationship with Jesus Christ to all of those we come in contact with on and off the field, court, course, or other athletic venue.
- Our Career and College counseling services include individual private tutoring in SAT Prep for all junior class members. We are also authorized to test students for SAT, PSAT, and ACT here on campus. Testing on-site is a huge advantage for students because they are already comfortable in our school setting.
- Our Short-Stay Immersion program is designed to allow students to experience American education and student life. Each Short stay is customized for each student to give them their unique American experience based on their goals and interests. It is offered year-round and lasts from one to six weeks. - The Dual Diploma Program at WCA facilitates summer learning through two six-week immersions in two consecutive years. We offer multiple options to earn a dual diploma, such as on-site at our beautiful campus, online, or hybrid. The main advantage of the Dual Diploma program is that it opens up many opportunities for students to study worldwide. Click here to learn more.
