Alzar offers semester away prorgams for sophomores and juniors in high school and gap year programs for ages 18-22. We have campuses in Idaho and Patagonia, Chile where all of our programs spend time. We focus on leadership development through engaging academics and outdoor adventure. Students participate in backpacking and river trip expeditions and learn skills to enjoy these trips on 2-week expedition blocks. Students experience cultural exchange as we head down to our second campus in Patagonia, Chile. Half of the semester will be spent learning, exploring, and developing relationships in our second home of Patagonia.
