Iowa Conservatory (ICON) is a private co-ed performing arts boarding high school plus postgraduate gap year program where brilliance at every stage is more than just a tagline!

Located in the cosmopolitan heart of downtown Iowa City - "the greatest small city for the arts," ICON students specialize in music, dance, visual arts, theater arts, musical theater, and design & production. The whole student is honored and nurtured at ICON, with particular attention given to each unique artistic goal, emphasizing interdisciplinary opportunities to work on real-world projects with other like-minded artists guided by our expert educators.
